From a small farm in Big Spring, Kentucky, to building a company known nationwide and headquartered in Quincy, Illinois, the Moorman story is one of innovation, family, and community – with an impact that is still deeply felt today. 

For generations, the Moorman Company was more than just a business – it was a place where careers were built, friendships were formed, families were supported, and a community grew stronger. Its influence can still be felt throughout Quincy today, and The Quincy Museum is honored to preserve the largest collection of Moorman artifacts in our community. As we begin documenting and sharing the story of Moorman, we know that the most meaningful pieces of its history aren't just artifacts – they’re the memories held by the people whose lives were touched by the company.
